When voice interfaces such as the Google Home started to appear in European households back in 2018, we were curious about their potential. Instead of just providing facts and weather updates, could they add something to the creative process?
To explore this, we built a custom app for the Google Home that makes use of an association network. This prototype serves as a speech-based creative partner, participating in brainstorm sessions through associations. By suggesting related ideas, concepts, and connections, the bot aids in the flow of creative thought, offering unexpected insights and broadening the scope of ideas.
