The project explores the potential for enhancing online communication, where emotions are often filtered or lost. Is it possible to bring a more honest, direct, or real experience to virtual interactions—making them feel more authentic or true to the individual’s feelings. This could enhance the emotional depth of communication, making it closer to face-to-face interactions.
This first prototype senses and interprets people’s emotions, dynamically adjusting the surrounding environment with colours that reflect the user’s emotional state. The installation mirrors and amplifies the user’s feelings, creating an empathetic and immersive experience.
We experiment with real life sized presentations of people. This prototype captures body language and physical presence more accurately.
